Process

How a project runs, from first call to final revision

You always know what stage you are in and what we need from you next.

  1. Discovery call

A conversation about the product, the buyers and what happens when a deal stalls. We ask who you lose to, why people hesitate and what your best customers say when they describe you.

  2. Messaging

Before drafting pages, we write the core message in a short document: who it is for, what changes for them and why you. You approve it, and every later word follows from it.

  3. Drafting

We write the pages and documents you chose, in your buyer’s language rather than the product team’s. Each draft comes with notes explaining the choices.

  4. Delivery

You receive the copy ready to hand to your designer, developer or sales team, organized page by page.

  5. Revisions

You review with your team and tell us what feels off. We refine until the copy says what you mean and holds up with the people who have to use it.

What changes when the message comes first

Old way
Brief an agency, wait, receive a draft full of category words, rewrite it yourself.
This way
Agree the message first, review drafts with notes, revise together until it is right.

Start with the discovery call

It is the first stage of every project, and the easiest way to see whether we are a fit.
